The Village of Larchmont provides drinking water to its residents and property owners. This service is performed by the Larchmont Water Department with assistance by the Larchmont Department of Public Works. The water department is responsible for the distribution of water throughout the Village, maintenance of the fire hydrants, water mains and valves.
The department also regularly tests and inspects the quality of water under the direction of the Westchester County Department of Health. There is a Water Quality report that is completed annually. To see a copy of the latest report please click here: (2017 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report)
The Water Department’s operations are funded through the sale of water and user fees, not by Village property taxes. Starting June 1, 2018 Village water customers will receive their bill quarterly.
