This year, the Larchmont Beautification Committee celebrates its 35th anniversary! Our volunteers hope that you will take a moment to appreciate our legacy of gazebos and flowers and consider joining us.
The focus of our committee is to plan the landscaping and tend the plantings on Monroe Island, in DeMatte Circle, in the garden in Pine Brook Park and in the large pots at Village Hall, Addison Parking Lot and the train station overpass. We help plan for holiday decorations in conjunction with Larchmont Village officials. At the annual Arts Festival, we present awards to local merchants who have creatively impacted the charm of Larchmont through their store displays and exterior maintenance.
The Beautification Committee meets monthly in members’ homes to plan for, enhance, and encourage the beauty of our village. Meetings are generally 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Your time commitment would include attending our meetings, helping
us to plant in early spring and again in May, occasional gardening chores, and decorating for the holidays.
We welcome all those interested in our mission to join our committee, so that we may broaden our efforts.
